Staff Sergeant Josh Stewart

Staff Sergeant Josh Stewart didn’t know that building single family homes while on tour in Egypt would lead him to the architecture program at the University of Arkansas.

After serving in Egypt in 2001 with the U.S. Army, Josh again served his country in Iraq in 2003. Returning home he began working toward his Bachelor’s degree in architecture. His Army training gave him the disciplined background to achieve high academic standards and the confidence to strive everyday toward his goal of becoming a licensed architect.

Josh stays immersed in architecture and landscape workshops, as well as, carpentry and construction projects. Supplemental to his studies, Josh helps veteran families and values his time with friends.
