Sergeant Robin Williams

A proud Marine, Robin’s character has been formed with a deep sense of loyalty to our country and a driving ambition to serve and repay the veterans who have come before her and those that continue to serve. Being a service-related disabled veteran herself, the daughter of a Vietnam veteran and deploying twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom has strengthened Robin’s commitment to work with the veteran community to overcome the vast hearing and balance issues servicemembers deal with upon returning home.

Robin wishes to become a staff audiologist for the Veterans Administration after completion of her joint doctoral program through San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego. While attending SDSU, she has been an active member of the Student Veteran Organization as an executive member.

Recently, Robin began working with the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Balboa Hospital were she finds reward as a contributor to their care and rehabilitation. She believes that veterans can greatly benefit from being under the care of a fellow veteran who truly understands the causes and treatment of combat-induced hearing impairment.
