Born in Seoul, Korea, Kevin Kim and his parents moved to the United States when he was 14 years old. Kevin graduated from Lake Braddock High School in Virginia.
In 2003, Kevin joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. In 2006, he had a special assignment to Osan, Korea and served as a postal clerk and information manager. After four years of service, the Air Force allowed him to re-enter academic life at Northern Virginia Community College where he graduated with an Associate of Science degree in general studies.
The military increased his desire to continue his education at the University of Maryland. As an architect, Kevin wants to make an impact on the world, and wants it to be a better place for future generations. His future goal is to be licensed to practice architecture and begin a promising career. By applying his military bearings and core values in the field of architecture, he will continue his service for our community and country.
