Seaman Amy McNish

After a chance meeting with a Navy recruiter in the mall, Seaman Amy McNish enlisted and served her country honorably from October 1995 to May 1999. Upon discharge, Amy began her education, as well as, the life of a veteran.

While earning her Associate’s degree, Amy worked as a daycare provider. This experience encouraged her to follow her dream of making a difference in a children’s lives through education. This led her to start working toward her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education at the Mississippi State University.

Upon graduation, Amy hopes to make a positive impact in the country’s educational system.
