As the daughter of an Army veteran, the sister of an Air Force Reserve member and with the experience of living as an ex-pat in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Janice Cunningham knows the reality of the U.S. military. As an active member of her high school and valedictorian, Janice is ready to begin a new adventure back on U.S. soil at Mississippi State University where she is pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering.
With this degree, her mission is to someday see a war veteran leave recovery with a new leg, or recover quicker than ever from reconstructive surgery thanks to new devices or technology she will help to develop and create.
In addition to earning her degree, Janice looks forward to expanding her volunteer experience and hopes to make an impact in the lives of military servicemembers and their families all over the country.
