In 2001, First Lieutenant Sara Rose Knox joined the Army ROTC at Becker College in her home state of Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science and is now pursuing her Doctorate of veterinary medicine at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

While fulfilling her commitment to the Army, Sara Rose has decided to continue to serve – not only her country but its service animals as well, as an Army veterinarian. Sara Rose hopes to one day enter small animal emergency medicine but for now is focused and determined in her current role in the military.
