With a choice from his father after high school to either join the military or go to college, Christopher Rushin decided on the military, joining the U.S. Marine Corps. During his military experience, Chris saw it all. As a Marine security guard, he traveled around the world working side by side with the U.S. State Department and Secret Service providing diplomatic protective services at U.S. embassies – in all, spending one year a piece at three U.S. embassies around the globe.
As an individual, Christopher lives his life based on his Christian beliefs, setting a standard to show kindness to all. He tries to help people whenever he can and his generosity has made him a more humble person. Additionally, he has always had a personal quest for knowledge and finds it interesting to know the cultural aspects of why and how people are the way they are. He takes each opportunity to absorb the best of people and listen to what they have to offer.
To continue his learning, Christopher enrolled at Cleveland State University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in criminology and sociology. With this degree and the real world experiences he had in the military, Chris aspires to pursue a career in criminal justice.
