Christina Robinson, Navy Dependent

Christina was born on September 11, 1991, in Meridian, Mississippi, where her father was stationed for “A” School. Twenty moves later, in January 2007, Christina and her family made their way to Seoul, South Korea, where she graduated from Seoul American High School with high honors.

Christina had been an active leader in both her school and community. In high school, she served on student council, as a secretariat for model United Nations, in the Spanish club and as a very active member of the National Honor Society. Academically, she was awarded numerous awards and was selected as an Illinois State Scholar. She devoted over 150 hours to USFK Good Neighbor Programs including volunteering at the Young Nakand Hye Shim Won orphanages, assisting Hannam Village Chapel with their sponsorship of blind orphans and serving as a sponsor for four Korean girls during Good Neighbor English Camps.

Currently, Christina is attending the University of Illinois, pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, where she has joined the EFC’s Robotics Team and is an active member of “Team Tech” in the Society of Women Engineers in addition to working in her dormitory and volunteering at a local crisis nursery.
