Amy Roland, Army Spouse

Amy has spent her entire life in and around an Army base. The daughter of an Army veteran and now married to Major David Rowland, Amy has served the role as an Army supporter beyond just a family member.

Having experienced the adversity associated with having a family member serving in a region under constant danger (David has been deployed for over half of their six years of marriage), Amy understands what other military families are feeling. Through her experiences she has realized the important role that a family support structure plays in the success of each and every one of our military servicemembers.

Because of this, Amy is pursuing a Master’s degree in educational psychology so she can further support servicemembers and their family members by helping them reach their education goals.
