Leadership Through Action™

When given the means, every young person has the potential to become an effective leader and make a significant impact on their community and our world.

The Pat Tillman Foundation is investing in veterans and their families through education, community and advocacy. The Foundation's mission is advanced through educational scholarships awarded annually to a distinct group of Tillman Military Scholars.

With over two million individuals serving since September 11, 2001 and over 300,000 troops returning to school or work annually, there is great need for awareness of the increasing demand on the limited amount of resources available to military families. Through the Tillman Military Scholars program, the Foundation is focusing its efforts on becoming the national leader in providing educational support to this deserving group.

The Tillman Military Scholars program provides educational scholarship support and resources to veterans, active servicemembers and their dependents. The program was developed to fill the void left by limited benefits veterans, military spouses and children are eligible to receive through the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
