Online registration is now closed. Complete and bring this Race Week Entry Form with you to Packet Pick-up on Weds. 4/17 through Fri. 4/19, at the north end of Sun Devil Stadium. Late registrations will be accepted until sold out.

The 4.2 mile course winds through the streets of Tempe and is staged so that all participants finish on the 42-yard line on Frank Kush Field inside Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the #42 jersey Pat wore while he was a Sun Devil. The start line is located on the East side of the stadium on Packard Drive. The route features three aid stations and four runner refreshment zones at the finish.
Each registered participant and finisher will receive the following:
- Commemorative 4.2 mile technical race shirt or Kids Run cotton T-shirt
- Race number and timing tag
- Inspirational finish on the 42-yard line inside Sun Devil Stadium
- Three aid stations along the course
- Runner Refreshment Zones with fruit, sports drink and water at the finish
- Activities and entertainment for the entire family at the Finish Line Expo
- A truly memorable experience
Pat’s Run Kids Run
Pat’s Run Kids Run is a .42 mile run/walk for children ages 12 and under that finishes on the 42-yard line inside Sun Devil Stadium. All participants will receive refreshments, a souvenir race T-shirt and goodie bag.
Packet Pick-up will be available at the north end of Sun Devil Stadium. Please note, all participants must pick up their race packet prior to race day and no later than Friday, April 19th at 6:00 p.m. Race packets will not be available on race day.
You may have a family member or friend pick up your packet. Registered teams with 10 members or more can select a consolidated team packet pick-up for Friday, April 12, 2013.
Participating in Pat’s Run as a team of family members, co-workers or friends allows you to create and share special memories. Please note, team registration closes March 31, 2013. After that date (space permitting) all participants will be registered as individuals. Team Captains will be given the option during online registration to request an early consolidated packet pick-up (Friday, April 12, 2013) for the entire team.
How to Create a Team
Click on the Register Now button on the patsrun.com homepage, click Register Now on the Active.com landing page. Select LOGIN after “Already have an Active Account?” or follow the prompts to create a User Account (this will allow Team Captains to manage their teams, if you login as a guest, it prohibits that function).
Select “Creating a Team (Team Captains Only)”, follow prompts to create your team name and password (optional), register for the run and invite others to join.
How to Join a Team
Click on the Register Now button on the patsrun.com homepage, click Register Now on the Active.com landing page. Choose “Joining a Team (team members only)” for either the 4.2 or the Kids Run. Select your team name from the drop down list, enter the team password and proceed with Registration (Adult or Kids Run). Contact your team captain for the team password (if required).
Team Packet Pick-up
Team Captains who opted for a consolidated, early team packet pick-up during the registration process and whose team has 10 or more members will be able to send one team representative to pick up all race materials on Friday, April 12. This will enable an entire team to receive race numbers, shirts and programs prior to race week. We encourage large teams to pick up early to facilitate distribution to team members prior to race week. Eligible team captains will receive an email invitation to pick up Friday, April 12.
The Kids Corner is an interactive zone for children ages 12 and under featuring interactive games, inflatables and special appearances by members of the Arizona State football team and local mascots. For your convenience, the Kids Corner will open at 6:00 a.m. for pre-race activities. Please do not leave young children unattended in the Kids Corner at any time.
Finish Line Expo
The fun continues after the race with a free finish line festival that features entertainment, refreshments, an interactive Kids Corner and an expo featuring over 40 local and national vendors.

RacePlace Events is the official timing company of Pat’s Run. Results will be posted online by 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 2013.
Official Race Photographer
Pat’s Run has partnered with Zazoosh Media to serve as the official photographer for this year’s event. Race photos will be available for purchase within a few days following Pat’s Run at patsrun.com. Please make sure your bib number is clearly visible on the front of your shirt to help us identify you and be sure to wear a smile at the start and finish line.

Every registered Pat’s Run participant and volunteer has the opportunity to join Team Tillman Pat’s Run to earn unique gear, gifts and benefits – including reserved race day parking – while raising important funds and awareness for the Pat Tillman Foundation.

T-shirt Only Participant
Run, Walk and Honor throughout the year in support of the Pat Tillman Foundation wherever you may be. Race shirts will only be mailed to those who make a T-shirt Only purchase or register as a Shadow Run participant. Click here to purchase a race shirt. Please note, T-shirt only packets will be mailed the week following the event.
Rain or Shine
Pat’s Run will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.
The Medical Team is a dedicated group of medical professionals available to assess your race day needs and administer acute first aid if necessary. Medical stations will be located at the start, finish, Kids Corner and at every water station along the course.
Many local Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix hotels offer reduced rates to Pat’s Run participants.
