Early Years

Born November 6th, 1976 in San Jose, California to Mary and Patrick as the oldest of three brothers (Kevin and Richard), Pat showed early signs of becoming a unique individual. He was a curious infant who began walking at just eight-and-a-half months. As the oldest of three brothers, he 'ran the show' at home, while remaining a deeply caring and protective brother. Growing up without television led the three brothers to spend much of their time reading and playing outdoors.

Image002 While Pat was always a respectful and diligent student, he had a tendency to 'push the limits' and test people's patience outside the classroom. He attended Leland High School in San Jose, California (1990-1994), where his senior year he led his team to the Central Coast Section Division I Football Championship and earned co-Player of the Year honors for the Central Coast Section.

After his senior year in high school, Pat got into a fight protecting a friend who was being bullied by an older man. After pleading guilty, he spent several weeks in a juvenile home where he reflected and realized he didn't want to be perceived as a delinquent. The experience was one that Pat chose to learn from, and it served as a turning point in his life. As Pat later stated, "I learned more from that one mistake than all the good decisions I've made."
