As a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy, Petty Officer Third Class Arthur Leal provided medical care to civilians and active duty military members. As a student at the University of Arkansas, he has continued his journey in the sciences while studying pre-veterinary medicine and animal science. Arthur plans to continue his focus on medicine and use both his in-class and field experiences to further his education and someday become a physician’s assistant.
