One aspect of being a Tillman Scholar is service. On Monday, January 18, 2010 as part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service, Pat Tillman Foundation Program Director Hunter I Riley and Tillman Military Scholar Michael Trent were part of a group of volunteers in Detroit, Michigan who spent the day at Osborn High School painting.
Tillman Scholars from all three programs – ASU, Military and Social Action – participate in or lead service projects in their local communities and in some cases around the world. The Pat Tillman Foundation is proud of the work our Scholars, staff and mentors perform each year.
